AURORA, IL…H.B. Fuller Construction Products Inc. announces its new TecniColor™ commercial-grade grout, a new advancement in grout technology that delivers high performance for commercial and public spaces, in an easy-to-use formula.

Its high-performance features include resistance to many chemicals used in commercial applications, permanent stain resistance with no sealing and defense against mold and mildew to keep a “like new” appearance with simple, routine maintenance. Also, the high strength formula is crack and shrink resistant, and is recommended for high traffic areas in interior and exterior installations.

TecniColor grout delivers high-def color that resists UV fading and includes superior color consistency with no efflorescence. The product comes pre-mixed and ensures color accuracy and uniformity with no inconsistencies due to variations in mixing methods or water sources.

The performance features are augmented by its easy-to-install qualities. Unlike epoxy, it spreads smoothly to fill joints and cleans up easily from the tile surface using only water and a sponge.

“We’re excited to offer this unique product as another example of our commitment to developing cutting-edge solutions to overcome installation challenges,” says Grant Huffine, Senior Market Manager for H.B. Fuller Construction Products. “This new product supports our mission to provide innovative solutions, so that what can be imagined can be achieved with TEC.”

Available for purchase in June 2013, TecniColor grout comes in 20-lb. pails consisting of one universal floor and wall formula for joints ranging from 1/16” to 1/2”. For its introduction, the product will be offered in eight colors that match current design trends, including: Bright White, Pearl, Antique White, Sandstone Beige, Light Buff, DeLorean Gray, Summer Wheat and Charcoal Gray.
